Dyke 50th anniversary

Bill and Susie Dyke of Camden will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary at an open house. The event, hosted by their children, will be Sat., Feb. 17, from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Deer Creek Community Center.

Dyke and the former Susan Hardy were married Feb. 17, 1968, at the Deer Creek Presbyterian Church. He is a retired tool and die maker at Chrysler Corp., Kokomo. She has been a self-employed hairdresser since 1969 and currently has an alteration/sewing business at their home. She also formerly owned The Grapevine Boutique in Flora.

They have two children, Christopher Dyke (Jennifer) of Camden and Stephany Prather (Michael) of Walton; a special niece, Kim Binney (Kevin) of Logansport; and three grandchildren.

The couple requests that gifts be omitted.
